Put it on a dresser and ti looks great! Put vanilla candles in it. The wood base had a little damage on one corner but nothing really noticeable (must have happened during shipping).

OmniMount Echo 50FP 50-Inch Video Table with Flat Panel Stand (Espresso) Review

Setup is easy and it's very sturdy. the mount is a vesa compliant so it should fit most tvs. The vertical bracket is very solid and heavy. It looks really modern and nice.

Please note that the bracket fits inside the cabinet thus the 15 1/2 depth is further reduced by around 3 inches. The overall depth is only around 12 so be sure to check your electronics if it fits.

The biggest drawback is you need to put a safety cable which requires putting a hole in your wall. the reason for this is the cabinet is too narrow and the TV is too tall that it has a tendency to fall over.

It's so cool to enter what you want in your search engine, and then voila -- there it is! I entered 'matchstick bamboo lamp', because that's what I wanted to create subdued lighting in two areas of my bedroom. They go great with my Asian theme but they could be used in any contemporary scheme. Bamboo is such a great renewable resource. Be sure to use no greater than 40 watt bulbs; anything higher gets blown.

This was a great price for what you get but one of the trays was chipped.It was packaged chipped from what I observed.I just kept it because it was too much hassle to return.I have been shopping on line for years now, and am noticing more and more that the items I purchase are seconds with flaws.In the stores, they would'nt sell.The only exception is a name brand item.Never had a problem with them.

Ergonomic Kneeling Posture Task Chair [WL-1430-GG] Review

Bought one of these for a friend who had complained of lower-back pain after working at his home computer.Several years earlier, I had ordered a "Kneelsit" chair from Australia for the same reason, and found that it really eliminated my back pain, but my friend wanted something cheaper and smaller.The WL-1430-GG requires a lot of assembly (tip: lay out all the smaller parts on a table, in the same order as shown on the assembly instructions, and use a magnifying glass to see the detail of "what goes where" in the line drawings).When assembled, the chair looked good (the tilted seat is good for relieving strain on the lower back), and the three settings for seat height are a plus, but the knee pad turned out to be positioned too close to the seat for comfort, since my friend is 6'2", with long legs.(Unfortunately, the knee pad can't be adjusted relative to the seat.)We took apart the rubber shock absorbers and related parts that support the knee pad, and re-assembled them on the "wrong" side of the crossbar: this provided an extra inch or so of space, but it's still a tight fit.Bottom line: this is probably a good chair if you are of average height and weight.If you're unusually tall, short, or heavy, be sure to test the chair before discarding its packaging, since you may need to return it.

I have this stand for my 73" Mitz and although it's supposed to be for up to a 65" TV it works and looks great. The screen does extend about 1 1/2" beyond the stand on each side but it looks fine and is certainly more than sturdy enough. The cherry and black looks "classy". As opposed to the other reviewer I found the instructions and assembly excellent & straight forward. Mine was purchased locally and delivered by the retailer. It IS quite heavy. Was going to bring it home myself in our mini-van. Glad I didn't!

Mystical Candle Lantern - Style 39640 Review

This product is perfect for what I wanted it for. I hung it in my sunroom for a delicate light. I use battery operated candles inside for safety sake. But you have to find white light candles, not yellow light candles, so you can still get the proper color from the glass. And I like the fact that the holes in the top of the lantern cast a lighted design as well.
As far as this company; they shipped it properly and I received all three Moroccan Style lights at one time. Very happy.

Prepac Sonoma Black 6-Drawer Dresser Review

I believe I ordered seven pieces from this set.At least three of them showed up with missing parts, and several were significantly scratched.On one of the pieces, one of the dowel holes was drilled too deep, so when I tapped the dowel in, carefully following the instructions, it broke right through the finished side of the panel.The veneer on this furniture is the thinnest I've ever seen.It is incredibly easy to scratch the furniture and ding the corners.A little black touch-up marker was sent with each piece along with a note that basically says it is completely normal for brand-new furniture to arrive all dinged up.Perhaps the versions with wood-like veneer are more durable, but I highly doubt it.

I admittedly dropped one panel, but from a height of only maybe an inch or two, and it complete destroyed the corner of the panel.The corner pretty much just disintegrated.I am still waiting on missing and replacement parts after several attempts to get them.Prepac sent me some of the parts that I requested, but not all of them, and they didn't even bother to tell me which parts they did send.The company that I purchased the furniture from, Cymax, has even worse customer service.Non-existent is a good description.I'm honestly thinking about filing a complaint with the state attorney general about their lack of communication.

This was the worst purchase that I've made in a long time.I really wish I had only ordered one piece and examined the (very poor) quality before deciding to order a whole set.On-line, this furniture looks a little more sturdy than most RTA furniture, but it is not.It is not worth half of what I paid for it.I hate to think what the cheaper PrePac furniture is like.My advice is to save up for some real furniture and stay as far away from Prepac and Cymax as possible.

I bought this cabinet and I'm somewhat dissatisfied.
The assembly is not complicated, it uses bolts with cam locks.

PRO's: Finish, color, enclosed to keep dust out.

CON's: poor door hinge design; it's too small and spacing for DVD's is very restrictive.
The doors do not close evenly and make contact with the shelving.
DVD space is lost because of the top door magnets.

Summary: nice looks but lack of spacing between DVD/shelves and doors causes problems with proper clsosing. Everything is very tightly packed.

Techcraft CRE48B Credenza for 48-Inch Flat Panel Televisions Review

In researching my purchase of an inexpensive TV console, the most common complaints I read of were of items damaged in transit and of materials that were incorrectly made in the factory (pre-drilled holes not lining up correctly, missing screws, etc).

I am happy to say that my Techcraft CRE48B console had neither of these problems.It was delivered in a box that was sturdy, with exterior corner protection, and everything inside it was very well packed and protected by Styrofoam and sheets of plastic.

The exterior pieces are quite heavy and have a beautiful glossy smooth black finish which is flawless.The interior pieces are made of a lighter but sturdy particle board painted a mat black.The glass is tempered and clear and was fit perfectly in the doors.The back cover is very sturdy compressed cardboard with large openings for all the cords to fit though, and attaches with screws, not nails. I should note there is a fifth leg which projects from the middle near the back of the unit which is not visible in the product image.

It took me about 2 hours to put it together by myself, working very carefully. There were no missing pieces (and no extra pieces).The instructions are mostly images only, but all the larger pieces are labeled with stickers and the smaller pieces are represented with 1:1 scale drawings. I had no difficulty understanding the directions.Assembly requires a Phillips screwdriver (smaller and larger heads).Everything fit together just right and when complete it feels very solid.

Overall I am very pleased with this item, I consider it to be a very good value.The only issue I have with it is that even after adjustment, one door is just a tiny bit off level, but that's a flaw I'm willing to accept in an item in this price range.

Brushed Nickel & Fabric Shade Standing Floor Lamp Review

I recently moved into a new apartment, but had NO lighting. Between thrift stores and craigslist I managed to find a couple affordable table lamps but couldn't find any floor lamps that weren't boring or poorly made within my price range.

I bought this based on the picture here on Amazon.If you like how it looks in the picture, you'll love it when you get it.Mine arrived about two weeks after ordering - it had to be truck shipped from the California to New York.I am extremely happy with the quality of this product, especially when compared to the price.The finish is beautiful, a lot of depth to it.Plenty of storage behind the bar, though you'll have to remove the interior shelf in one of the cabinets if you want to store liquor bottles.Four screws and it is done.

I suggest being very careful attaching the brackets for the brass foot rail.There are no pre-drilled holes, which is as it should be, but you just don't want to go too deep when drilling the holes, or you'll pop through the other side inside the cabinets or behind the wine rack.

All-in-all, very happy with this purchase.

Carved White Side Table Review

I was looking for a side table for the glider in our nursery and happened upon this one. I was worried, to be honest.. usually you get what you pay for and for just under $40, I didn't expect much. I gave this little table a try anyway..

I am *so* happy that I did. It arrived beautifully packed, and it was out of the box and put together in less than five minutes. Bobkona Microfiber Ottoman, Hazelnut Review

This ottoman is very nice looking.When you receive it it comes in one large box with just the 'base' of the ottoman.The cushion part and the 4 legs are actually located inside the base of the ottoman. The bottom of it is covered in material like on the bottom of a chair or sofa, attached with velcro - pull back the velco and there is the cushion and the 4 legs.The manufacturer really should put a diagram or paper inside the box explaining where all the pieces are or on the box itself.I too found it confusing.

The ottoman looks terrific.It is very sturdy, surprisingly so.A friend of mine weighing 240 pounds sat on it and it held him easily.I would make sure the legs are securely and tightly screwed in if you use the legs (more on that later).It is also quite a large ottoman, easily accomodating two people.The microfiber is very nice but I don't think it is the best material for the top of the ottoman as this material is not the easiest to clean, so I put a small blanket on top of it.I also dislike taking my shoes off inside the house, especially as it is winter, so this was an easy fix for me.On another note, I do find the ottoman is quite high, certainly higher than my couch so my legs and feet are angled up a bit, where my feet actually were in the viewing range of my TV.This wasn't going to do, so I simply took the 4 legs back off and shoved them back up inside the 'secret compartment' where they were originally stored along with the top cushion.Now it is a perfect fit and very comfortable.

This ottoman is a very good value.The price is reasonable and it is very sturdy and nice looking.I'm very pleased with it.

Mission Style Wood & Leather Rocking Chair Rocker Review

Although this product was relatively easy to assemble, and the overall design is aesthetically pleasing and was received in good condition and rapid fashion; there remains the invariable fact that the design of this chair is flawed beyond repair.

Within 2 days of using the the chair it developed a rather noisy squeak. It is to be expected that a wood product will give off some noise due to variances in temperature and humidity etc, however on the third day, the arms separated from the back with a loud crack.
The arms are joined to the back via two dowel rods and glue. The one point in the design where all the downward and backward stresses of the sitter/rocker are focused, is held together by wood and glue... throughout the rest of the chair a series of brass alloy screws and lock nuts are used which is fine if not overkill. The one point where screws and lock-nuts would do the most good, they are lacking.

As there are two dowel rods which support the focal point of stress on such a small supporting beam, it is impossible to replace the dowels with screws as the pre-drilled holes have already compromised the integrity of the beam.

Nice looking? yes. Quality? no. Firewood? not unless you like clouds of toxic fumes from the lacquer.

Bush Furniture Stanford TV Stand Review

After reading a number of reviews on Amazon and other sites, I felt that this piece of furniture was the best value available.By the way, I ordered this piece and paid for 1-day shipping, which was only $10 and it arrived in 1-day, all 113 lbs!
A couple of things you should know before purchasing this item.First, it is 100% particle board, no real wood.Not necessarily a problem, but just so you know what you are getting.Second, check all pieces before assembling.I got about half-way through the 3 1/2 hour job (not sure how the one reviewer did it in 1 hour!) and realized that one of the pieces had cracked paint.Given the location of the piece and the lack of desire to return, I continued anyway.Some of the pieces don't line up as well as they should and you may need to force a few together. (Doors are tricky to line up perfectly)
However, given the price I paid and the strength and appearance of the piece, I still feel it was a good purchase.I would recommend this piece, just not highly recommend.

End Table Review

This is a nice looking, functional nightstand if you are on a budget. A few words of caution, the assembly, though easy on the customer, it can take some time the first time (more than 20 min perhaps). You'll need a Phillips screwdriver. Also, the bottom panel for the drawer is really made of cheap material, it does not look like wood but rather cardboard, I actually thought it was part of the packing material as it did look nothing like the rest of the pieces. This is not a big deal though, since this piece cannot be seen and it is sturdy enough for the bottom of a drawer.

Bush Furniture Stanford Audio Cabinet, Antique Black/Hansen Cherry Review

The product arrived, and took me about an hour to finally assemble.

Problems:

1. The stand itself is a bit shaky, and can only take 50lbs of weight per shelf.My Onkyo 805 receiver is 61 lbs.. I placed it on the lowest level, and crossing my finger that it works

2. With the receiver inside, the door won't close..(problem to many, but not to me because...)

3. The door was completely broken when it arrived.The frame separated from the glass. i had to buy glue and glue the two together myself.After 2 more hours of doing that, and fiddling with it, i gave up and threw the door away.Now i have an open cabinet, with the receiver sticking out.

4. Complicated to assemble.probably the most annoying assembly i've ever done with respect to furniture.

Positives:
1. doesn't look too bad.without the door it's still useable.

Sorry Bush.. the quality control is not acceptable.

Contemporary Style Dark Brown Leatherette Bench Chair Review
