This was very easy to put together it took me literally 5 minutes.It can take some force to get the material over the PVC style pipes, but it wasnt too bad.I recommend you actually read the directions though and pay attention to the direction of the connecting pieces, they all have to be exact or your chest wont go together correctly.
My daughter loves this chest, the top lid comes of easily enough for a 2 year old to remove.
