I bought this globe as a Christmas present for my mom, she always talked about wanting a semi-precious stone globe and when I saw this I had to get it.The globe was MUCH larger that I expected (in a VERY GOOD way). It was extremely beautiful and the stones were wonderfully cut & placed! The stone guide card that came with it made it easy to identify the stone of each country. It seems very stable & durable and the gold stand & graphic lines really stand out. Well worth the price!!!
My only complaint was the stones used weren't what I was expecting. I was hoping that there would be amythst, quartz, pearl, etc. But it mostly contained different shades of jade and other stones. Even thought, it was still beautiful, and I'm debating bout buying myself one!
