I bought 2 of these for a furnished room that I'm going to rent so I was pleased to find something with a reasonable cost. It's actually cute and sturdy for the price but unfortunately EVERY piece of the black laminate was scratched. Also, the large, clumsy screws for assembly are not recessed so the plastic caps provided to cover them stand out from the wood and are pretty obvious.
