Tree Man Incense Burner - Style 33543 Review

I bought this for incense matches in the bathroom. The matches, when dropped into the top of the tree, burn and discolor what appears to be a form of plastic.I made a very short 1/2" copper pipe fitting to sit in the top of the head and it works now for what I wanted.It will not fit a full stick of incense in the designed for use with the little base. I would be concerned about leaving burning incense in this plastic tree.I'm not sure it would start a fire but appears that it could melt.
