Kathy Ireland Furniture: Stellar Series Av Tower Review

Overall this is a well designed product that does the job it was designed for in an efficient and unobtrusive way. The one problem with the design is that the rear feet are two small diameter leveling screws... Instead of bare metal the heads of these should be nylon and much larger diameter to protect the floor or carpet. The front feet, by contrast, are large and made of nylon for good protection. The assembly instructions are rather cryptic, and the illustrations are tiny and dark... hard to read. I have uploaded some photos to amazon so as to show various stages of assembly that are puzzling (but Amazon scrambled the sequence of these fotos, so they are not in order). Be sure to start all screws carefully because this is soft aluminum alloy, and you don't want to cross thread the screw holes! I have also uploaded a photo showing physical dimensions of the shelves. In summary, large receivers and Blu-Ray DVD players will fit with room for the cables in the back. There is a 50 pound load limit per shelf, except on the bottom shelf. I did cuss a bit during the assembly process, but the finished product is great.
