Kathy Ireland Furniture: COLORFUL SOUTHWESTERN POT Review

I came across this pot while browsing Amazon, (along with another at the link enclosed), after I put up a window shelf in my study that is done in a Western/Native American decor.I have a couple of plants on the shelf and wanted to surround them with some pottery with a southwestern or American Indian flavor.I quickly found out that true southwestern pottery of an authentic nature is way beyond my budget.And I would hazard to guess beyond that of a lot of folks as well. I opted to purchase this and a companion piece sold by the same company.They were both reasonably priced and appeared a decent size.I have to say I was most pleased when both of these pots arrived.They are of a nice heavy ceramic with a rough matte finish that gives it a very authentic look and feel.And the artwork on both is very well done and most handsome indeed.(This one is a little smaller and of a different style than the companion piece also purchased). I consider this piece as well as the other pot to be both excellent choices and worthy additions to anyones room or home done in a southwestern or native American design.Though they probably could never be confused with true hand made American Indian pottery by an expert, it's my guess however that most people viewing them in ones home would never know the difference. They are larger in size than one would imagine, (they were to me) as well as very handsomely painted and sturdier material than one would expect for the price.Both vases also come with rawhide and feather tassels attached as well.I highly recommend both of these fine looking pots for yourself, or as a gift for someone that favors southwestern decor.They are both beautiful pots and very much worth the price asked for them here on Amazon...CERAMIC BUFFALO SOUTHWESTERN DECORATIVE POT FEATHERS
