I brought one of these lights recently and for the cost I was not expecting too much. The quality is a little on the poor side, and mine had one part of the battery terminals (I think that's what they are called)in a bit too far so the batteries were not touching. So I removed the batteries and used a pin to pull the terminal back into place, and reinstalled the batteries. From then on its worked fine. I use mine with my kindle international, and if I clip it onto the case while its open like a book the light shines too far below the screen to light it properly, but when the case is folded all the way back, and the clip is on both sides of the case then it sits up fine, and works really well with no glare.
It does not add too much bulk to the kindle and it does not over balance it either. Other then the battery problem its been really good, and the robotic arm feature is actually pretty cool lol.
Basically it is a great light for the cost, and I would recommend it to anyone as long as they are prepared to fiddle with it a bit, and experiment to find a way to make it work properly for them.
