I was a bit intimidated after reading that some have taken up to 8 hours to put this thing together but I was looking for something quality. With the (sometimes) help of my kids I was able to build this in under two hours and it is top notch. While it is pretty heavy (and that's a good thing) it was still manageable. It also comes with sliders built-in to the feet so it reduces your work arranging it once you get it built. My 65 inch TV looks great on it and I highly recommend this to anyone with a larger TV. I think anything under 50 inches may get dwarfed by it's precense as it has a very solid look and feel to it by itself.

One word of cautiuon: you may want to lay out cardboard, a rug, or a sheet to build it on so you don't scratch the finish.
