These make a cute little party-trick or game for children.The "flame" is quite sensitive so blowing on it or even minor vibrations (like picking it up and simply setting it back down on a hard surface) will set it off so it drained the batteries after I left them on the coffee table and a few trucks rumbled by on the street outside.My toddler likes to hammer the table they're sitting on to set them off and see the colors change.
